Kupittaa Core is building a new kind of urban environment
The Kupittaa Core partnership project is expanding the Turku Science Park area from Kupittaa towards Itäharju. A vibrant, city centre-style urban environment will emerge as the former industrial plots in Itäharju are transformed into blocks for living, studying, and working.

Highlights from the Kupittaa Core foundation stone ceremony
The Kupittaa Core partnership project will renew local infrastructure and transport solutions and provide a new vocational education campus in the area. Construction began in early 2026, and the foundation stone was laid in early autumn 2026.
